Alexander has a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from Auburn University where he tutored national champions and conducted research for private companies and government agencies. Alexander is a 3L at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he serves as a managing editor of the Cleveland State Law Review and research assistant in the field of Space Law, examining issues such as export control reform and space resource utilization. Alexander gained intellectual property experience during his time at Bridgestone and NASA, where he responded to office actions, administrative claims, and outside idea submissions. Alex has also conducted patentability searches, and prepared freedom to operate memos, portfolio analyses, patent landscape assessments, and design applications.
